Trout-in-the-Classroom Report from Enoch Elementary School:
Our students have been loving every minute of Trout in the Classroom this season! They are learning about trout anatomy, life cycles, and how trout survive in their natural habitat. Each day they observe the tank, track growth, and record their findings in their trout journals, building both science skills and stewardship for our local waters.
In the coming weeks, students will deepen their understanding with a fish dissection and are beginning to plan our fishing field trip, where we’ll release our trout at the end of March and beginning of April. It’s been so exciting to watch both the trout and our students grow right alongside each other.
