We are extremely fortunate in Southern Utah to have so many of the region’s best fly fishing rivers and streams just within a few minutes drive. Our home waters are the Sevier River, East Fork of the Sevier, the Beaver River, and the Fremont River, along with their tributaries. Born and raised in Ohio, Steve’s fishing interests were cultivated on ponds and streams in the midwest. As a young musician, he moved to Las Vegas in 1994 to work as a saxophonist in the showrooms and on the strip. Knowing the rivers and streams of Utah’s southwest were only a short drive away, he found himself taking opportunities to escape the desert environment. His escapes went from weekend fishing trips to week long adventures, allowing him to expand his knowledge of the fishery in Southwest Utah. Eventually, Steve relocated to Cedar City, Utah, and acquired Circle Valley Anglers.
